Modern Renovations has been serving Winnipeg homeowners since 2015. Winnipeg’s housing stock is diverse, and the exterior work each home needs depends a lot on when and where it was built. Post-war bungalows in East Kildonan and St. James are often still wearing their original siding and wood fascia from the 1950s and 60s — material that’s long past its lifespan. Character homes in Wolseley and River Heights have beautiful architectural detail but the wood trim rots if it’s not maintained. Newer builds in Sage Creek and Bridgwater look good now, but builder-grade materials don’t always hold up to Manitoba’s climate the way homeowners expect.
